Harvest will be collected until late autumn.
Tomatoes ripened in the November agricultural complex. Tomatoes will go on sale from day to day. Cucumbers from our own greenhouse and greens have already appeared on the shelves: onions, parsley, arugula, spinach and basil.
It’s snowing outside the windows, but it’s summer in the greenhouse. Here, the temperature is constantly maintained from 18 to 25 degrees, so that cucumbers and tomatoes are comfortable.
Sowing for seedlings began in November. Plants made up for the lack of sun in winter with phytolamps. Now they are not needed. The first batch of tomatoes is on the way. The next one began to grow a little later to ensure a uniform volume of the crop.
Plants were planted in the ground exactly a month ago. In a month they will begin to bear fruit. Cherry tomatoes grow here and the early-ripening tomato “Master of the North” ripens.
Varieties were selected taking into account cultivation in greenhouse conditions. According to the observations of agricultural producers, the ripening process in the North takes longer than in the South. Harvest in the greenhouse is planned until late autumn. It is expected that during the season the volume of grown vegetables will be about 9 tons.
